12 New Dresses

I will be adding 12 new dresses to Ebay tonight, well, one of them is a jumpsuit disguised as a dress actually. You can check them out here. While looking at them I really get the feeling I might have to buy a new camera. It snowrained all day, and I couldn't get enough light to bring out the colours of the dresses. That is why they appear rather dull. I also don't like to use the flash, because that makes it even worse.

Monday

Today was another nice and sunny day. I worked on my Ebay template, listed something on Etsy, packed a few packages, took some pictures, did errands and had a walk in the park. Did some university research. I also got outbid on this pretty 40's dress on Ebay, which wasn't so nice, but oh well...

Ebay

Since I love thrifting so much I always come across beautiful things that are unfortunately not in my size, but too beautiful to leave behind, I am thinking about opening up a little Ebay shop for quite a while now. Since I have almost zero html skills, turbolister will have to do for the time being. I already sold a few bags and shoes from the 70ies and 80ies and I will put up some more shoes and a Marc Jacobs dress (I love it so much, but it's in a size 10) during the next days. You can find them here.

The floral dress

I'm a bad blogger, I guess. I only get done two posts in a month and in April there wasn't even one. I need to improve, I think. Right now I'm in love with this dress from Primark. Where I live, we don't have Primark which is on the one hand pretty good, because you probably won't meet anybody in the same dress on the street, on the other hand you have to buy them on Ebay and pay eventually a lot more than they cost in the shops. I wonder for how much they retail, 10 £?

I think I might buy this dress in black though. I've been on the lookout for a dress like this for quite a while now, and haven't been able to find something vintage for a reasonable price. I just wish I hadn't thrown away all my 90's floral dresses.

Spring Wishlist

I have to remind myself of what I want for spring, so here goes the list:

  • Vintage Gunne Sax Dress
  • Vintage prairie dress
  • Vintage floral and ethnic print dresses
  • Some red sandals and some brown ones
  • Vintage yellow peep toe shoes
  • Vintage skater skirt
  • American Apparel pencil skirt and full jersey skirt
  • Cute coloured socks to wear in sandals with dresses
  • Vintage navy or black blazer
  • Black ballet flats to go with everything

I just noticed that i really like neutrals these days, so I will be probably looking out for colours like brown, cream and white, but also some pastels and yellow and a bit of red to brighten things up.

Strawberry Fields

Isn't that a cute dress? If only... If only I would fit into it. If you happen to have a 31" bust you can find it here among other fabulous things this Ebay seller has to offer. It's only at 9,99$ yet and still has 3 days left.

Grumpy

Today we collected my vintage Salvatore Ferragamo shoes, that I got from ebay, from the customs duty office. I didn't have to pay anything, but unfortunately the shoes don't fit. They are marked a US size 7, but the seller said they would fit like an 8. I guess not so. So I think I'm going to put these up on Ebay again, but still I'm a little bit grumpy now.
